The histogenesis of the endometriosis is not clearly established despite the various theories that has been presented. The prevailing theories include. 1. Transtubal regurgitation of menstrual blood. 2. The celomic metaplasia doctrine. 3. Lymphatic dissemination. 4. Hematogenous spread.
