Abstract

Objective To discuss uterine adenomyosis MRI performance and MRI scanning diagnosis value. Methods MRI examination was performed on 19cases with pathologically proven uterine adenomyosis after the surgery carries on the review analysis. Results In 19 cases, diffuse uterine adenomyoses 11 cases showed diffusely thickened junctional zone, the junctional zone and the muscle demarcation line blurring, showed the medium signal on T1WI and so on,or slightly lower on T2WI mixed with scattered in multiple focus points higher signal.8 cases focal uterine adenomyoses displayed uterine body or bottom limitations increase, the junctional zone with thickening and the muscle demarcation line blurring, showed the medium signal on T1WI and the signal was slightly lower on T2WI,lesion signal can be uneven and central division point can have a high signal. Conclusion MRI is very useful in the diagnosis,Sagittal T2WI show lesions is the best sequences.
