Relationship between endometriosis and education degree of the women in Ningxia Hui autonomous region

Objective To investigate relationship between endometriosis and education degree of the women in Ningxia Hui autonomous region to improve preventive health measures.Methods Gynecological examination,B-ultrosonography,detection of CA125 in the serum were conducted for screening of gynecological diseases.The education degree and work hours per day of the women were analyzed.Results In record of formal schooling of the patients there was significant difference between the endometriosis group and the control group(χ2=113.273,P0.01),and with raising of education degree of the women,the incidence of endometriosis increased(r=0.5,P0.01).In the work hours per day of the women there was a significant difference between the two groups(χ2=10.957,P0.05).The incidence of endometriosis of those women who had high education degree and long work hours(8h)was higher than that of the women in the control group.Conclusion The incidence of endometriosis in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region may be related closely to education degree of the women.
