Architecture Design Studio: Live by Virtual

Educating any mortal is a two-way process between student and teacher, can embrace the content and institution as well. In the contemporary world, millennials are focused on fusing design with critical thinking to show their ideas and innovations to the world. Hence, pedagogical experiments play a crucial role in shaping architecture curriculum and practice. Design-build exercises are considered as innovative educational practice, that explores built environment and can be incorporated with design studio as an alternative approach. Despite the set of circumstances, that we are now at a point of online mode learnings due to COVID-19 influence, instructors have to search for new and innovative ways to approach learners, and better comprehend their intellectual level, so the student does not lack in his educational courses. The study aims at proposing a hybrid approach in Architecture Design Studio by eliminating design-build exercises and incorporating virtual design technology. The study will undergo only a Qualitative research process for the institutes exposed to VR devices, and a framework will be developed for the 4th, and 5th year students, having skillsets in software and architecture.
