Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of applying high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound to the imaging diagnosis of abdominal endometriosis. Methods The manifestations of 27cases of abdominal endometriosis confirmed by operation and pathological methods were got from high-frequency 2Dultrasonic diagnosis and color Doppler diagnosis and were compared. Results The high-frequency 2Dultrasonic visualization discovered nodules at the different strata in abdominal walls, and the nodules had obscure boundary, irregular shapes and edges, showing mostly solid low level echo of heterogeneity and rear-attenuation and inner small echoless areas. The color Doppler revealed dot-like and streak-like blood flow signal around or in the nodules in 19cases.Conclusion High-frequency ultrasound can have important clinical value in diagnosing abdominal endometriosis.
