Abstract
In order to investigate the mechanisms of Nei- Yi Recipe (NYR) in treating endometriosis,the changes of plasma β- endorphin concentrations and interleukin-2(IL-2) activity of splenocyte production with concanavalin A-induced in adult Spragne-Dawley female rate with experimental endometriosis were observed.It was found that IL-2 activity of sptenocyte production were significantly reduced in untreated group compared with control group and treated group of NYR-1;the plasma β-endorphin concentration was significantly lower in untreated group compared with control group;there was inter- dependent relationship between plasma β-endorphin with IL- 2 activity of splenocyte production by analysis of linear re- gression.The NYR-1 enhanced immune function of endometriosis by increase of IL-2 activity of splenocyte production.
