Effect of drug therapy for endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery

Objective:To explore the curative effect of Mifepristone combined with Guizhifuling for treatment of endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery.Methods:A total of 156 patients with endometriosis were selected from the hospital from 2009 to 2011,then they were randomly divided into two groups after laparoscopic surgery,78 patients in each group,the patients in observation group were treated with Mifepristone combined with Guizhifuling,while the patients in control group were treated with Mifepristone only;the recurrence rates,pregnancy rates,and effective rates in the two groups were observed.Results:Eleven patients in observation group and 27 patients in control group recurred.The pregnancy rate and effective rate in observation group were statistically significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy rate between the two groups.Conclusion:For the patients with endometriosis,Mifepristone combined with Guizhifuling after laparoscopic surgery can reduce the recurrence rate and improve pregnancy rate,the method is worthy to be spread in clinic.
