Abstract

The study intends to examine whether personality traits are reflected in facialbehaviour during dyadic interactions. Facial Action Units (FAUs) of Facial Action CodingSystem (FACS) are calibrated through a computer vision platform (OpenFace 2.0).Customised big five personality- based interviews are conducted in a smart room on 113individuals to examine their FAUs and correlated with big five personality test. The studyrevealed at least seven action units have significant association with big five personalitytraits. This study establishes the feasibility of personality research through facial cues in AIparadigm.
