Abstract
The invention pertains to a technique that is novel with respect to endometriosis to discover auto-antigens found in patients having this disease. Furthermore, the invention comprises polypeptide auto-antigens which were discovered using this technique, as well as cDNA clones that encode these auto-antigens. Finally, the invention pertains to methods and diagnostic kits which utilize these polypeptides to detect endometriosis.
