Clinical and Serum CA125 Analysis of Adenomyosis and Hysteromyoma

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the chnical characteristics and serum CA_(125) of adenomyosis and hysteromyoma,to ymprove rite accuracy of preoperative diagnosys.Methods Compare and analyse the clinical informations of 21 adenomyosis and 27 hysteromyomas.Results The ages,symptoms and signs of the patients in the two groups were very similar.But dysmenorrhea was more prominent in daenomyosis (P0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the accuracy rate of B ultrasonography and the large uterus of hysteromyoma and adenomyosis (P0.01).The level of serum CA_(125) rose evidently,more prominent than that of hysteromyomas (P0.01).Conclusion The differentiation of adenomyosis and hysteromyomas is dependent on the clininal symptoms and the imaging of B-ultrasonography.It is of great value to diagnose adenomyosis preoperatively by examining serum CA_(125).
