Abstract

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of acupuncture therapy on endometriosis(EMT) and its immunological mechanism. Methods:EMT model of rats were set up.30 Rats were divided into three groups: normal group,EMT model group, and acupuncture group. The levels of serum IgA,IgG,IgM,and the function of CD3,CD4,CD8,CD4/CD8,and the activity of natural killer(NK) cells, and the secreting levels of IL-1,IL-6 in serum were measured. Results:Acupuncture suppressed the increased humoral immunity reactive in EMT,improved the function of cell immunity, enhanced significantly NK activity, and reduced the secreting levels of IL-1,IL-6 in serum. Conclusions:Acupuncture therapy can relieve the disturbances of immune function in EMT.
