Analysis of 50 cases patients with pelvic endometriotic cyst by TVS guiding puncture and sclerotherapy

Objective To investigate short term and long term effects of puncture and sclerotherapy introducted by transvaginal ultrasonography (TVS) in patients with pelvic endometriotic cysts.Methods A total of 50 cases with 53 pelvic endometriotic cysts were treated by puncture and sclerotherapy under TVS guiding and followed up within 5～7 years.Results The patients outcomes showed good recovery 35 in cases,obvious effects 11 in cases ,seight effects 3 in cases and no effects 4 in cases.The cure rate was 66.0% and the total curative rate was 92.5% .Conclusions The method proved a significant effect not only in short term but also in long term.
