Abstract
This study explores the transformative role of internal narratives in psychic integration, particularlyin adapting to dissociative states and identity conflicts. Drawing on Propp, Bettelheim, andBromberg, it examines fairy tales as a meta-psychic language for reworking experience. Throughthe clinical case of a transgender individual, it illustrates how imaginative narratives aid traumaintegration and identity acceptance. Highlighting the continuity between childhood and adultcreativity, the study links narrative symbolism to overcoming inner emptiness and loss. Findingsunderscore symbolic narratives as a valuable therapeutic tool, offering new insights forcontemporary psychoanalytic practice.
