Abstract
This project is a scoping review that aims to map and summarize current physiotherapy interventions used to manage pain associated with endometriosis. Endometriosis is a chronic condition commonly associated with pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, and reduced quality of life. Physiotherapy is increasingly incorporated into multidisciplinary care; however, the range, characteristics, and reported outcomes of these interventions are not clearly synthesized. This review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) scoping review framework and will be reported according to PRISMA-ScR guidelines. A comprehensive search of electronic databases and grey literature will be conducted to identify relevant studies. The expected outcome is to provide an evidence map of physiotherapy approaches, summarize reported pain and functional outcomes, and identify research gaps to guide future clinical practice and research in endometriosis rehabilitation.
