Evaluation of laparoscope used in diagnosis and treatment of women with sterility

Abstract

Objective:To explore the value of laparoscope in diagnosis and treatment of women with sterility.Methods:306 women with sterility checked by laparoscope and followed up for 2 years were analyzed retrospectively to evaluate the effects.Results:295 cases(96.40%) were diagnosed as various pathological change,the other 11cases(3.6%) had not abnormity.Of 295 cases,there were 204 cases caused by oviduct factor,65 cases endometriosis,13 cases ovary factor,8 cases womb abnormity,and 5 cases other factors.After followed up for 2 years,the gestation rate was respectively 38.23%(78/204),38.46%(25/65),23.07%(3/13),25%(2/8) and 20%(1/5).Conclu-sion:The major causes resulting in sterility are oviduct factor and endometriosis.Laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of oviduct sterility and endometrium heterotopy should be a fast,accurate,reliable method with less damage.
