Abstract

Objective: To explore the value of three-dimensional ultrasonography in diagnosis of uterine diseases.Meth-ods: Comparative analysis had been made between two-dimensional ultrasonic examinations and three-dimensional ultra-sonic examinations towards 46 patients with different uterine diseases. Results: Among the 46 cases,two-dimensional ul-trasonography made correct diagnosis to 35 cases of hysteromyoma,6 cases of adenomyosis,2 cases of carcinoma of en-dometrium and 1 case of endometrial polyp, and made failure diagnosis to 2 cases of endometrial polyp. The diagnostic ac-cordance rate was 95.6%.Meanwhile,three-dimensional ultrasonography made correct diagnosis to all cases including the 3 cases of endometrial polyp which were made failure diagnosis by two-dimensional counterpart, together with clear image, visible shape and stereoscopic effect, which especially contribute to clarify the relationship between pathological changes and uterine cavity and endometria as well as superficial structure of pathological changes. Its diagnostic accordance rate was 100.0%.Conclusion: Three-dimensional ultrasonography tremendously has values in diagnosis, differential diagnosis and making therapeutic schedule of uterine diseases.
