Thrombophlebitis and “Enavid.”

Abstract
Sir I should like to report a case of thrombophlebitis in a patient taking enavid. A married womam aged 38 suffering from dysmenorrhoea and endometriosis started taking enavid 5 mg t.d.s. on May 24 1962. On May 28 she developed phlebitis in a superficial vein on her left leg. The drug was stopped and there was no further extension of thrombosis. This patient had had phlebitis some years previously.(FULL TEXT)
