Analytical Analysis of the Slotted Double-Sided Linear Flux Switching Permanent Magnet Motors by Considering Different Layers of Winding

Abstract

This paper states an analytical model for double-sided linear flux switching permanent magnet motors (DSLFSPMMs) to predict magnetic quantities more accurate and faster in comparison to numerical model in 2-layer of winding (single and double layer). At first, formulation of DSLFSPMMs based on Maxwell equations in different regions is implemented then by boundary conditions, unknown parameters are verified and revealed under each arbitrary number of teethes and slots eventually, the results of analytical model are compared with those which extracted from numerical model.
