Abstract

This paper presents a fully detailed, realistic design for a compact, closed-loop fusion energy system known as the Ulyssean Fusion Battery (UFB). Combining photon acceleration, laser-induced microfusion, AI energy regulation, and thermoelectric recovery, this model outlines how such a system could feasibly be constructed using modern and near-future materials and technologies. Each subsystem is described with precise technical and engineering detail, aiming to bring science fiction into the realm of scientific innovation.

My notes (saved in your browser only)

Ask this paper AI returns verbatim quotes from the full text · source: preprint-html

Answers must be backed by verbatim quotes from this paper's full text. Hallucinated quotes are dropped automatically; if no verbatim passage answers the question, we say so. How this works

Citation neighborhood (no data yet)

We don't have any in-corpus citations linked to this paper yet. This is a recent paper (2025) — citers typically take a year or two to land, and the OpenAlex reference graph may still be filling in.
