Abstract
Objective:To improve the diagnostic accuracy of the adenomatoid tumor of uterus.Methods:In 634 women who underwent a total hysterectomy and resection of myoma between June.2002 to May.2003,11 cases that diagnosed as adenomatoid tumor of uterus were investigated by gross and microscopic examination.Results:Among these 11 cases with adenomatoid tumor of uterus,there were 5 cases with leiomyoma,3 with adenomyosis,1 with leiomyoma and adenomyosis.Conclusions:The diagnosis of adenomatoid of uterus can be improved by combining carefully gross investigation,pick-up specimens,and microscopic examination.This lesion usually merged with leiomyoma and adenomyosis.
