Recent Development and Strategies of Pain Management Associated with Endometriosis

Management of the pain is the key and the most difficult part of treating endometriosis. There are three strategies to relieve pain associated with endometriosis: surgery, pharmacology, and the two combined. There is considerable debate about the benefits and drawbacks of pharmacologic and surgical treatment. According to most of literature, it is better to combine pharmacology with surgery. Here we introduce the simple endometriosis pain treatment flow chart. We still need more clinical researches to improve it.
