Abstract

Objective To determine the effect of celecoxib on endometriosis.Methods Three groups of endometriosis models were established:one group was interferred with cyclooxygenase-2 inhibiter(celecoxib);one group with nemestran;and the other with no interference.Each group had 20 rats,and at the 6 th and 8 th week,10 rats in each group were killed,and then observed the change of ectopic focus.Results The ectopic focus of the two interventive groups had obviously contracted,P0.05,with statistical difference.Conclusion Using celecoxib to treat endometriosis has definite effect on endometriosis and it can be used in clinical practice.
