Abstract
Abstract Objective: Two well-being scales were administered to participants attending personal transformational workshops; the International Positive and Negative Affect Schedule Short-form (I-PANAS-SF) and the Affective Well-Being Scale. Data were collected before and after workshops occurring between March 17, 2018, and November 4, 2020, during which 1,175 unique records were collected. A previous publication reports on changes in I-PANAS-SF results, comparing before and after the workshops. This study compares the I-PANAS-SF results with those of the Affective Well-Being Scale obtained from these same study participants. Results: The two well-being scales yielded similar results. While the I-PANAS-SF scale produced more nuanced results, the additional time required must be balanced against the value of the additional information gained.
