Abstract
Abstract Lightweight design of oil tank could improve the endurance, maneuverability and carrying capacity of mobile equipment. Cyclone separator is beneficial for the miniaturization and lightweight design of hydraulic tank due to high separation efficiency. Structural parameters are essential for separation performance. The influence of five key parameters was studied by the orthogonal experiment method. Three assessment indexes, gas-liquid separation efficiency γ, overflow split ratio β and effective split ratio α, of the separation performance of the flow separator were proposed. The best optimal structure in orthogonal experiment was selected for verification experiment. The overflow split ratio of the cyclone was 15.8% and the separation efficiency reached 95.95%. The influence of five parameters on three indexes basically has same trend. The study provides a reference for the structure design and separation performance evaluation of the gas-liquid cyclone separator.
