Abstract

Objective To explore the association between anti-reproductive immunassay antibodies and changes of gonadal steroids hormones in endometriosis. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 268 patients with endometriosis(endometriosis group aged35 years old,90 cases;endometriosis group aged≤35 years old,178 cases)and 200 patients with non-endometriosis were retrospectively analyzed(patients control group aged35 years old,72 cases;patients control group aged≤35 years old,128 cases).Chemiluminescence immunoassay was used to detect the levels of serum luteninizing, follicle stimulating homone(FSH),homone(LH),testosterone(T),estradiol(E2),progesterone(P)and prolactin(PRL).The serum levels of anti-ovarian antibodies(AoAb),anticardiolipin antibody(ACL)and anti-endometrial antibodies(EMAb) were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The endometriosis group aged35 years old and aged≤35 years old showed higher serum P and PRL level, significantly higher reproductive autoantibody positive rate than control group endo aged35 years old and aged≤35 years old.The serum LH was significantly higher in endometriosis group B than that of control group aged35 years old(P0.05).Comparison of the indicators of other hormones, there was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The result suggests that there exist anti-reproductive immunoassay autoantibodies changes in endometriosis patients.Higher P and higher PRL levels may play a role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.
