Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of female etiological factors on in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) results. Methods Data of 345 cycles were retrospectively analyzed and divided into four groups according to female etiological factors.Group A:203 cycles with pelvic and tubal diseases,Group B:62 cycles with endometriosis or adenomyosis,Group C:35 cycles with ovulation obstruction,Group D:45 cycles with unexplained infertility.Fertilization rate, cleavage rate, implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate, miscarriage rate, ectopic pregnancy rate of the four groups were compared. Results There was no difference in cleavage rate and implantation rate between four groups(P0.05).The fertilization rate of group C was significantly lower than that of group A,group B and group D(P0.001).The clinical pregnancy rate of group B was lower than that of group, group C and group D(P0.05),while the miscarriage rate of group B was higher than group A,group C and group D.The ectopic pregnancy rate of group A was significantly higher than group B,group C and group D(P0.05).Conclusion To improve IVF-ET result,it is better to treat sterility factors of infertile women before IVF-ET.
