Abstract
The study explores the impact of virtual speech therapy guidance on cochlear implant users and their families in Lebanon's healthcare landscape. The research, which used a mixed-methods approach, found significant improvements in device handling and school integration for the virtual group. Participants demonstrated better understanding of device maintenance, fewer difficulties in device handling, and reported improved support from educational institutions. The study recommends integrating virtual speech therapy guidance into standard postoperative care for CI users, which could lead to enhanced treatment adherence, reduced component breakdowns, and better overall rehabilitation outcomes. This research advocates for a paradigm shift in postoperative care for cochlear implant users, delivering personalized, accessible, and effective rehabilitation support
