Abstract

Summary Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are of great significance in many biological activities and diseases. It is essential to distinguish between direct, indirect and false PPIs in order to accurately understand their biological functions. Here we report a method based on p hase separation- a ided c ompartmentalization of p rotein-protein interactions in c ells (PACPIC), which is tailored for identification of direct and indirect PPIs in cells, using recruitment as the readout.
