Abstract
Disclosed herein is the use of a compound of formula (V), in particular Bithionol, wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification, in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting or reducing angiogenesis, inhibiting the growth or metastasis of a tumour, for treating a disease or disorder associated with angiogenesis (such as neoplastic diseases, restenosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, diabetic retinopathy, psoriasis, endometriosis, macular degeneration, neovascular glaucoma and adiposity).
