Abstract
Objective: To investigate correlation between infertility induced by endometriosis and serum IL-6 and TNF-α levels. Methods: Eighty patients with endometriosis were divided into endometriosis and infertility group(group A),and simple endometriosis group(group B),with 40 cases in each group.Forty healthy women of childbearing age were also enrolled as control group.Levels of IL-6 and TNF-α levels were detected and compared among the three groups. Results: IL-6 and TNF-α concentrations of group A were significant higher than that of group B and that of the control group [(53.3±10.5) pg/mL、(185.9±20.1) pg/mL;vs.(34.2±12.3)、(132.5±12.5)pg/mL vs.(10.2±2.9) pg/mL and(96.7±23.4) pg/mL](P0.01).Conclusions: levels of IL-6 and TNF-α can be used as an important indicator for the diagnosis and prognosis of infertility induced by endometriosis.
