Abstract

Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of e IF4 E and ki67 in endometriosis. Methods The expression of e IF4 E and ki67 were detected by immuno- histochemical method of SP in 30 cases of endometriosis and 20 cases of normal endometrium. Results Expression of the three groups showed such sequence as follows about e IF4 E and ki67:ectopic endometriumeutopic endometriumnormal endometrium, there was a significant difference statistically(P0.01);e IF4 E during the reign of normal endometrium and endometrial secretion period is higher than the proliferation period, the differences are significant statistical significance(P0.05), ki67 in normal secretory phase endometrium group is higher than breeding period(P0.05), in ectopic group multiplication period is higher than the discharge(P0.05). The e IF4 E and ki67 protein had obvious positive correlation in ectopic endometrial and endometrium(r=0.861, P0.01; r=0.788, P0.01), but there was no correlation in the normal endometrium(r=0.297, P=0.207). Conclusion e IF4 E and ki67 in endometriosis express obviously increased. The expression of e IF4 E and ki67 were positively associated with development and progression of endometriosis.
