Clinical Observation on 50 Endometriosis Cases Treated with Yiweikang Granules

Objective To study the effect of Yiweikang Granules (herbal electuary for endometriosis) on endometriosis and its influence on serum carbohydrate antigen (CA125) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).Methods One hundred endometriosis patients were divided into two groups according to the enrolling time with 50 in each.The treatment group was treated with Yiweikang Granules while the control group with Danazol.The total effective rate,adverse reaction,and changes of CA125 and VEGF levels were compared.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 84%,and that of the control group was 86%.There existed a statistical difference in CA125 and VEGF levels in the treatment group after treatment,while there was no statistical difference in comparing with the control group (P0.05).Conclusion Yiweikang Granules is effective in inhibiting the ectopic endometrium.
