Expression of cyclin E and p27 protein in endometriosis

Abstract
Objective To study the expression of Cyclin E and p27 protein in endometriosis.Methods The levels of cyclin E and p27 protein were detected with immunohistochemisty.Results The expression of cyclin E in endometriosis was significantly higher than that in normal tissues(P0.001),whereas The expression of p27 in endometriosis was significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.001).There was negative correlation between p27 and cyclin E in endometriosis(P0.05).The expression of p27 and cyclin E were significantly correlated with clinical stages(P0.05).Conclusions As cell cycle regulatory factors,cyclin E and p27 protein might be involved in development of endometriosis.
