Abstract

Ovarian endometriomas had a persistence rate of 9.87% and recurrence rate of 20.27%. Drainage of endometriotic cyst and its complementary treatment with GnRH agonist were associated with greater chance of persistence. Postoperative medical treatment’s interruption was independently associated with greater chance of recurrence and inversely to time elapsed of the recurrence.
