Abstract
Objective To explore the factors of increased bleeding amount during laparoscopic huge hysteromyomectomy. Methods Seventy-six patients with huge uterine fibroids were divided into extra large fibroids group(group A),multiple fibroids group(group B),adenomyosis group(group C) and simple huge fibroids group(group D).The operation time, bleeding amount, length of stay and complications among the four groups were compared. Results The operation time and bleeding amount in groups A,B,C were obviously higher than those in group D(P0.05).The operation time and bleeding amount among groups A,B and C showed no obvious difference. The length of stay and complications among the four groups had no obvious difference. Conclusion The increased bleeding amount during laparoscopic huge hysteromyomectomy is closely related to the volume, number of fibroids and accompanied adenomyosis. It is important to assess these conditions before surgery in order to reduce bleeding in operation.
