Hormonelle Charakteristika von infertilen Patientinnen mit Endometriose
This study found lower AMH levels and higher thyroid autoantibodies in infertile women with endometriosis, suggesting impaired ovarian reserve and a link to autoimmune thyroiditis in endometriosis-associated infertility.

This retrospective study evaluated hormonelle characteristics and related factors in infertile women undergoing operative workup for reproductive diagnostics at MUW between 2007 and 2010, comparing women with moderate-to-severe endometriosis, minimal-to-mild endometriosis, and women without endometriosis (excluding PCO and hyperandrogenemia). Across groups, thyroid autoantibodies TPO and TG were significantly higher in the endometriosis group, AMH levels were significantly lower in women with endometriosis, and several markers (AMH, DHEAS, fibrinogen) differed between severe and mild endometriosis; no association was found between serum prolactin and endometriosis severity. The authors also report an association between endometriosis severity and tubal patency. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it analyzes hormonal markers, thyroid autoantibodies, and ovarian reserve measures in infertile women with endometriosis.
