Abstract

This paper adds to the existing literature in the field of graphical statistics, proposing a new approach to assessing the degree of similarity of statistical charts of various types, and presenting new metrics that make this possible. This improves analytical capabilities with respect to various processes mapped with well-known types of statistical charts, such as choropleth maps, radar charts, etc.
