Cystectomy for ovarian endometrioma and ovarian reserve

Abstract
Laparoscopic cystectomy has turned out to be the procedure of choice for ovarian endometrioma. Meanwhile,the procedure may impair the ovarian function,and to make the matter worse,ovarian failure occasionally follows. Therefore it would be beneficial to ovarian function to reserve and protect the normal ovarian tissues and to administer pseudomenopausal therapy for the tough endometrioma preoperatively.
