Abstract

Abstract This study proposes a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna array with three orientations for the transmitter device, as well as a 2-Ray Model for dealing with communications in an outdoor scenario. This orientation would be referred to as the (Horizontal, Vertical and Planar). Line of Sight (LoS) rays and ground-based reflected rays between the Tx and Rx have been incorporated in the proposed 2-Ray model. The research was carried out by using the most relevant software for route propagation-based ray tracing (Wireless InSite software) with the latest version in 2023. Different factors and Tx heights were examined when examining the findings for our study. The affects seen in the three examples were caused by the effects of varied antenna polarization, directivity, and diversity methods. Results obtained can confirm the reliable and optimum MIMO point placement as an array that can achieve the best overall transmission with less losses.
