Abstract

Abstract This study presents an approach by considering a risk assessment problem handled as a decision problem. The main purpose of this study is to observe how results are affected with more sensitive calculations and how results change including psychological behavior of decision maker to the process. For this reason, prospect theory is integrated to the MABAC method in which probability information is included in the process by probability density function with normal distribution. Also, Best-Worst method is used to determine weights of criteria according to each decision maker. Besides, weights of each decision maker are obtained using TOPSIS arguments. In addition, the proposed approach is applied under Q-rung orthopair hesitant fuzzy environment for more comprehensive study field. In the numerical part of this study, aircraft landing system is handled as an FMEA problem and by combining MABAC method, the novel method is applied to test how practical and consistent under improvements.
