Abstract
Objective To detect the expressions of mucin-1 and tumor necrosis factor receptor-I(TNFR-I) in endometriosis(EMs) endometrium, and investigate the relationship between the regulation of serum TNF-α and EMs-related infertility. Methods The endometrium was taken in 28 EMs patients(group EMs) and 26 patients with oviduct block(group C) during operation. The expressions of MUC1 and TNFR-I in endometrium were detected with IHC and Western blot methods, respectively.Serum TNF-α was determined by ELISA.Results The mucin-1 expression was not significantly different among different menstrual cycles in group EMs,but was higher in middle luteal phase in group EMs than that in group C.Serum TNF-α was higher, but TNFR-I expression was lower in group EMs than those in group C.Conclusion The change of mucin-1 expression in endometrium might be one of the factors for EMs-related infertility. That TNF-α lacks to promote mucin-1 expression in endometrium may be related to decreased TNFR-I expression.
