This article examines the symptoms, such as pelvic pain and infertility, and discusses the diagnostic methods including transvaginal ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The significant impact on quality of life and the various medical and surgical treatments available are explored. Additionally, this composition addresses the fertility issues associated with endometriosis and the factors contributing to its development, including genetic predisposition and environmental influences.
