We aim to summarize published \narticles associated with the topic to evaluate risk \nfactors. This can help clinical practice in the future. \nCondition being studied Endometriosis, also \nknown as endometrioma, is a complex disease \nwith unclear etiologies. The manifestations of the \ndisease include dysmenorrhea, infertility and pelvic \npain. Surgery and hormone therapy are the main \ntherapies of endometriosis. \nMETHODS \nSearch strategy MeSH terms of \"risk factors\", \n“endometriosis\", \"pregnancy\", \"recurrence\" and \ntheir free texts are applied. Pubmed, Embase, Web \nof Science, CNKI, Wanfang and Weipu are \nsearched. \nParticipant or population Ovarian endometriosis \npatients after surgery. \nIntervention No artificial intervention. \nComparator Patients without recurrence or \nwithout pregnancy. \nStudy designs to be included Randomized \ncontrolled study, cohort study or case-controlled \nstudy. \nINPLASY 1\nInternational Platform of Registered Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Protocols\nINPLASYIdentification of risk factors associated with \nendometriosis recurrence and pregnancy after surgery\nZhao, XJ; Liu, Y; Wang, L.\nADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION \nSupport - Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration. \nReview Stage at time of this submission - Preliminary searches. \nConflicts of interest - None declared. \nINPLASY registration number: INPLASY202590055 \nAmendments - This protocol was registered with the International \nPlatform of Registered Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols \n(INPLASY) on 14 September 2025 and was last updated on 14 \nSeptember 2025.\nCorresponding author: \nLiang Wang\n2196042@zju.edu.cn\nAuthor Affiliation: \nThe Second Affiliated Hosptial, \nZhejiang University School of \nMedicine.\nZhao et al.
