His life-sized armored robot knight was not realized until 1495 when it was built for the entertainment of his patron, the Duke of Sforza, at a celebration in the Court of Milan [1]. Five hundred years later, the field of robotics is not limited to entertainment, but has improved many aspects of everyday life.
