It may be diffuse or focal, depending on its distribution within the myometrium. Worldwide 1 in 10 women with subfertility are diagnosed with isolated adenomyosis. Over the last decade, the incidence of adenomyosis is constantly increasing and becomes a condition identified with symptoms like dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia AUB and infertility associated with disturbance of normal junctional zone, hormonal imbalance, inflammatory response and many more. Although this entity is not specifically mentioned in Ayurvedic literature, but it can be understood by evaluating the involvement of Dosha, Dhatus and Srotodusthi. To effectively manage this condition, it is necessary to have a thorough grasp of its etiopathogenesis along with dietary intervention. In Ayurveda, Aahara plays a crucial role in maintaining overall wellness and imbalance may contribute to conditions like adenomyosis. Nutritional therapy with holistic insights seeks to restore Dosha balance, reduce inflammation and improve uterine health. Key interventions like incorporating anti-inflammatory foods, detoxifying herbs, antioxidants rich dietary articles, Rasayana therapy and omega 3 fatty acids rich food article are recommended to support the body’s healing processes. This article aims to highlight the potential benefits of incorporating holistic strategy in the management of adenomyosis, promoting uterine health, along with improving overall reproductive health and vitality offering a complementary approach to conventional therapies.\nDownloads\nReferences\n1.
