Such systems, which have taken various forms, have been mostly descriptive based on the morphologic appearance of the disease. From these descriptions, investigators have made inferences regarding the pathogenesis and clinical consequences of this disorder. Attempts to group patients into categories were made with the presumption that certain outcomes with and without treatment could be predicted.\nPreview\nUnable to display preview.
