{"paper_id":"bc92dac8-6ab9-40c8-a806-1e1e303f743a","body_text":"Abstract\nEndometriosis Fertility Index (EFI) is the first externally validated scoring system for fertility prediction; it has been demonstrated to be the most effective tool for fertility management in women with surgically documented endometriosis by over 24 studies. This scoring system combined with historical factors and surgical factors (including least function evaluation of ovary, tube, and fimbria) and results can be reproduced reliably by different raters. EFI should be used in routine practice to counsel/manage postoperative fertility in women with endometriosis.
