{"paper_id":"bbf29465-1f8c-4a95-9eed-64d0bf623c2b","body_text":"Abstract\nOne of the most exciting recent developments in the understanding of endometrial and myometrial function has been the realization that a range of eicosanoids are synthesized within and have major biological actions on uterine tissues. Evidence is rapidly accumulating to indicate that eicosanoids are responsible for a wide range of physiological uterine functions and pathological disturbances.
