Transcriptome analysis of specimens of eutopic and ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis and specimens of eutopic endometrium of women without this disease.\nPatients and methods. The study included 12 patients with external genital endometriosis and 7 patients with a deficient uterine scar after caesarean section. Criteria of exclusion were inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs; endometrial hyperplasia, uterine myoma, adenomyosis, the use of hormonal therapy or an intrauterine system for one year before operative treatment.\nResults. Differentially expressed genes were found in the endometrial specimens of patients with endometriosis or without it, and also differentially activated signalling pathways in specimens of eutopic and ectopic endometrium taken from patients with endometriosis.\nConclusions. The data we have obtained are indicative of a considerable similarity of specimens of eutopic and ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis, which presupposes a possibility of using the transcriptome of the eutopic endometrium as a marker of the presence of foci of endometriosis.\nKey words: biomarkers, diagnostics, transcriptome, eutopic endometrium, endometriosis.\nFor citation: Adamyan L.V., Оsipova А.А., Aznaurova Ya.B., Sonova M.M., Petrov I.V., Suntsova M.V., Buzdin А.А.
