Das Kapitel stellt die aktuellen Aspekte der Diagnostik sowie den Kenntnisstand zu unterschiedlichen therapeutischen Optionen der Adenomyose dar. Eine ursächliche Therapie vor allem bei bestehendem Kinderwunsch ist insbesondere bei der diffusen Form nicht möglich.
